On another note i have cellar that i am converting to be my office/study, it was a dark, damp, coal hole and pantry the kind you have when you live in a Victorian sandstone terrace, i had to remove all the old lime render plus sevral hundred layers of paint to allow the walls to breath and dry, also lift and relay the sone floor on a damp proof and insulated floor, just got to let it dry awile longer and it will be read for a refit. The nicest thing about converting the cellar is that it been very cheep, Only £5 so far as i have used recycled materials which would otherwise have ended up in landfill.
http://builderscrap.com/ is a great site to look for recycled building materials.
Next week i find out when my in-house training is happening fingers crossed i will not have to wait weeks and weeks as i'm grinding at the bit!!! to get in.
Thanks for reading.
