British Pipe Bending Equipment

 I have been looking to purchase a set of hand pipe benders and during my search for quality and value for money i came across an ad on ebay for refurbished Hilmor and pipe benders at a fraction of the cost of brand new ones so i investigated further and here is what i found out about Bend It Now LTD

Keith Boldock and His business partner Mark used to work for Record Tools in Sheffield for over twenty five years and during this time they progressed to the posts of Development Manager and Factory Manager.

In 2002 They were tasked to close the factory as it had been decided by the powers that be everything was to be purchased from the Far East, at this time they were aware that we would eventually be made redundant themselves and asked when would  the pipe bending tools be sourced as this was the last production department not allocated a closing date, we were told this range had not been sorted.

We put a proposal together to supply the entire Hilmor and Record Tools pipe bending machines and spares range, this they did from 2003 under our new company name Genesis (Sheffield) Ltd, they supplied the products for the next five to six years.

They were invited to attend a meeting where they were informed that all the range they were supplying would be purchased from the Far East and our services were no longer required.

They closed Genesis and started up Benditnow Ltd to go in to direct competition against the well established Hilmor & Record Tools, They saw an opportunity to supply a Quality British product at a very competitive price and pride themselves on the workmanship and there customer service.

Unfortunately they had to lose there workforce when they closed Genesis and moved to a  smaller  unit to stay competitive and  have been trying to get the name in to the market place to hopefully be know as a supplier of quality British value for money products, and are slowly achieving this.

We are still refurbishing the Hilmor hand benders to resale on Ebay but are shortly due to release our own British manufactured unit as soon as it passes machining and quality trials.
